La Fortaleza is an arrangement for symphony orchestra of a piece by composer and guitarist Javier Cerpa. It was commissioned by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria for Attindamana: El sonido de un pueblo, el latido de una isla, the central production of Festival La Isla de Mi Vida. The work premiered on 29 May 2026 in Plaza de Santa Ana, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as part of a contemporary tribute to the island’s cultural identity featuring the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria.
