There is no finished score before sitting at the instrument, nor a structure to fulfil. Patterns, melodies, repetitions and silences emerge through listening and the emotional state of the moment, bringing composition and improvisation so close that they become difficult to separate.<\/p>\n<p>Working late at night is part of the method. Solitude, tiredness and a reduced urge to control encourage a more intuitive performance, less preoccupied with its outcome. Limiting subsequent editing also means accepting irregularities, breaths and spontaneous decisions that would usually be corrected in production.<\/p>\n<p>The first stage of the research produced <strong>Late Sessions vol. 1<\/strong>, a collection of three piano pieces.
